We’ve spent years in the trenches of the commercial waste world, engineering biogas and composting plants for others. But after watching truckloads of perfectly good waste get buried, we’d had enough. So, we built our own renewable-energy-powered facility to prove there’s a better
way – and we’re not shy about showing it off. Compost Confetti is our way of turning “eww” into “ooh!”, transforming yesterday’s scraps into tomorrow’s thriving gardens.

At the heart of Compost Confetti is a crew of innovators, engineers, and gardening enthusiasts united by one mission – to turn waste into something wonderful. We’re waste warriors, fighting every day to keep valuable organics out of landfill and proving that there’s always a better way. Our passion for protecting the planet is matched only by our love for growing nutritious food, and we’re here to show that sustainable choices can be both practical and powerful.

At The WasteWorks (the brainchild of Finn Biogas) we’ve spent years designing and building biogas and composting plants across Australia and beyond — tackling waste challenges with smart, sustainable engineering. But it was through the creation of our own demonstration plant in Brisbane that we saw a new opportunity: to turn the very waste we were processing into something even more valuable.

From that spark, Compost Confetti was born — a next- generation natural fertiliser made from 100% recycled food and garden waste. Through extensive engineering trials and innovation, we’ve developed Australia’s first pelletised compost and fertiliser blend using renewable energy and advanced waste treatment technology.
